The original's more on the epic side.
I just wanted to make it a little more fun and catchy.
I think I did a mediocre job, but I know it's a lot better than most of the other remixers that try to turn every song they touch into a cookie-cutter trance, drum 'n' bass or house track. I'm looking forward to doing more of these and getting the hang of mastering and all that jazz.

Sooo Klayton's picking out the top 20 to go into the final vote here in the next day or two, and it looks like I'm in striking distance even though I just threw this mix out there unannounced and haven't participated in their community or pushed it on Facebook or anything, and despite all the douchebags who go around giving shitty ratings to their competitors.

That said, I want to see how far I can take this. Just a few more five star ratings and I'll be up there.

DAMN, that was an ass-ton of work. It's a good thing I'm tracing ambient occlusion right now, so I've got nothing better to do. I didn't really see how to give you five stars either. I clicked on the fifth star and it said my vote was registered, but didn't change the graphic to show five stars. Well, either way, I tried.
